I am a robotics researcher, self-taught artist and photographer.
For my pinhole photography, I use only hand-made pinhole cameras and capture the images directly onto photo paper. I develop the paper in a darkroom (a converted closet) with alternative processes that use common household ingredients as a developer. I then digitize the images using a hi-res scanner, digitally invert/reverse, and then do any needed cropping or small corrections in software.
For my space art, I create imagined planets and moons using only ingredients I find in my kitchen. Pans are my canvasses. Oils, spices, and other ingredients provide colors and textures. I photograph the materials, then digitally crop, edit and compose into space images.
I send all images to professional printers for printing with archival Giclée pigments on archival, acid-free, museum-quality paper. Limited editions are numbered and signed.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
